It's the busiest time of the year...

October brings out the best in me. It’s the start of the absolute best time of the year. Alas 2020 has put a slight damper on things but overall I’m looking forward to Halloween weekend. My day job decided to do an indoor trick-or-treat party for all of the employees & their families. My focus this week will be making the office as spooky as possible, making sure everyone will be in costume, and ensuring all the candy buckets are full. We’ll be spending Halloween night having dinner with my bestie and having candy on hand if we do get some trick-or-treaters.

October is great & wonderful but this year I’m really excited about Thanksgiving. The kid will be in NC with his dad so the wife and I decided to spend a leisurely Thanksgiving in the Keys. The hotel is booked, dinner reservations are made, and we got a Go-Pro for kayaking adventures!  Plus my next book series is set in the Keys so actually it’s a work trip & I can’t write it out, right?

Once our relaxing Thanksgiving vacation is over it’s full time Christmas mode! In all realness, my Christmas shopping is 75% done. I know, I’m a freak of nature but I enjoy so many other Christmas activities, going into an overcrowded store is not one of them. I will have to pick up some last minute items but I can make a Walmart pick up order for those.

I’m ready for 2021. We need a new year. We also have a zillion things to look forward to. I have a story coming out in January in a YA anthology, another in April with the Crimson Moon Hideaway gang, the second in October. Plus we have Space Coast Book Lovers & Books at the Beach! I adore book cons & I need my book people in my life.

I hope your end is ending as well as ours. I hope you have happy & fun things to look forward to!
