Summer is my favorite time of year...actually that's not true. I have favorite things in literally every month of the year. I won’t list them for you now, but I will say I spent time this past week looking at Halloween costumes & planning our Secret Santa dinner. Yes, I am one of "those" people. We’re a few days into July & heading into the second half of the year. We always have a lot going on but with two more books cons, back to school, the wife’s birthday, the oldest kid’s birthday, & the holidays looming I’m in full planning mode.
Last weekend we were in Cape Canaveral, Florida to participate in Space Coast Book Lovers. Y'all, we have TOO much fun at this con. I adore the indie author community. Everyone is so supportive, encouraging, & just overall genuinely nice. I met a few new authors & bunches of readers. While I wasn’t a signing author, I did get asked to sign a few copies of “We Know the Truth, Do You?” It was pretty freakin’ cool. As of right now I don’t have any plans to sign at SCBL. I enjoy being behind the scenes too much, but I do have my first signing coming up in October! Books at the Beach sounds like it’s going to be a great time! If you’re planning to be there, make sure to come by my table for some goodies!
I am, right now at this minute, ahead in my writing schedule. Taking Initiative is up for preorder and will be released on July 22nd!! My next Crimson Moon Hideaway story will be coming out right before Books at the Beach in October. I love this story. The CMH books are easy to write because I’m obsessed with Crimson Moon Hideaway. It’s so unfair that it isn’t a real place I can go vacation at! In my research I have found several places I want to visit in that area so there may be a trip in our future. I’ll keep you updated.
