Hi! Wow, this “hello” is late since tomorrow is February already but you know how scatterbrained writers are. It’s 2021! Yay! I am actually very (cautiously) excited for the things to come this year!
My dad turns the big 6-0 in a few weeks so we’re planning a low key birthday party. Coincidentally, I have a new story coming out on February 18th! I’m super excited since this is only my second publishing. It’s an anthology called Once Upon a Brothers Grimm. There are several different YA stories all based on Grimms’ fairy tales. If you follow me on any social media I’m sure you’ve seen the posts about it. (I’ll also post it below.)
My 4-year wedding anniversary is in March, my birthday is in April and I’ll be releasing my first Crimson Moon Hideaway book: Out of Reach! I adore these characters and this story flowed out so easily. I’m working to put out a new book by June and that will take us right into Space Coast Book Lovers! I cannot put into words how excited I am for SCBL. Spending an entire weekend with book people is the best! If you’ve never been to Space Coast Book Lovers or don’t know what I’m talking about, I highly suggest you look it up. It’s a long weekend of fantastic Indie Author fun! I won’t be a signing author but I’ll definitely see you there!
Once I get over my SCBL high, I’ll begin my second Crimson Moon Hideaway book. This one has a love story but also a serial killer, some witches, and a misunderstood hell demon. Writing the outline for this story was a little wacky. In October, we’ll be heading over to the west coast of Florida for the first ever Books At The Beach where I will be a signing author! It’ll be my first book con as an author and not a fan girl. Although, with all the other incredibly amazing authors there you know I’ll still be fangirling!
In November we go back to the Keys for Thanksgiving, a new yearly tradition. Then it’ll be time to start Christmas shopping and start planning for 2022! We have a lot of other stuff going on as well this year. I’d like to see some live music and maybe hit Disney once or twice. Overall, I’m excited and feeling positive. I hope you are as well!
